HELPFUL POKER TERMS
Ante: A small bet all players are required to make before a hand is dealt.
All-In: To place all your remaining chips into the betting pot.
Bad Beat: This occurs when a player with a strong hand loses to an opponent with a weaker hand due to unexpected cards on the board.
Board: The community cards in the middle of the table that all players can use to make their best hand.
Bluff: Betting or raising with a weak hand to make opponents believe you have a strong hand and get them to fold.
Call: To match the highest bet within the current round.
Check: To pass on betting and allow the next player the opportunity to bet. You can only check if no one has bet in the current round.
Fold: To relinquish, muck, or discard your cards and forfeit all rights to any portion of the pot.
Flop: The first three community cards dealt out in a hold’em or Omaha game.
Flush: Five cards of the same suit.
Pot: The collection of chips that will be awarded to the winner of the hand.
Raise: Increase the size of the biggest bet at the table.
River: The last community card dealt in any poker game.
Turn: The fourth community card put out in flop poker games.

Q – What is the Bad Beat Jackpot?
A – The Bad Beat Jackpot payout is essentially a special prize awarded in poker when a very strong hand (determined by management) loses to a better hand.
Q – How many Players are allowed to play at each table?
A – Up to eight players can sit at the same time. Minimum of five (5) players are required, on a live game, to be eligible for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
